 just when you least expect things to turn out, life surprises you with the sweetest outcomes- close your eyes and go with the flow, indulge in the rare serenity. "wo men qu bugis liao la." - prolly the grossest twit statement ever. :/   we both were bored so shin and I made a trip down to bugis! had no intention of buying anything, just a sunglass for mum (aussie trip!), but ended up spending... ridiculous amounts on little ningnong accessories.. at least I was happy and shin was good company. for the record, it was the first time I enjoyed shopping with a dude! goodness, gerald please learn. shin impressed me big time today.. so I was one cuppa happy! he actually accompanied me through silly earrings/girlie shops and didn't complain much.. other than GAYTARD comments that made him deserve a thousand smacks on his stomach (-.-) wah, I was really happy! unbelievable. HAHAHAHAHA.  in this silly octopus shop that sold anime thingus that made shin's eyes light up and get all excited like a little girl getting estatic over her little new puppy. ohmy! the only thing shin bought that day OTHER THAN FOOD/DRINKS; earphone. 20bucks for philips. A STEAL! so we were just walking around and marvelling..   the sales person was quite cute! *winks* so shin bought his headphones and was testing it out.. but that silly thingus didn't know how to set the VOLUME lower so when he tested it, it was megahell distorted and the vibration mode was at high level. Shin: "why like that?!" (priceless face os spasticity HAHAHA) Me: "let me try... wah horrible." and I went to check the volume and turned it down, and the sales person switched the vibration mode lower. Shin: "eh, now better...but still got vibration eh." Sales Person: "oh it's like that, cannot turn off. mmm" Me: "good! now you will have slim ears!" Sales Person: "hahahahahaha giggle giggle" Shin gave me (-.-) face and walks off.. and I followed. Me: "EH DID YOU SEE! HE LAUGHED AT MY JOKE LEH! HAHAHAHA WAH WOOHOO!" Shin: (-.-) ok. for the record, I felt smart and witty. hyuk!   on the contrary to the nice background, we ate young coconut! very shiok! oh and shin finally returned me my rock melon :b    bought a goldmember watch, hair accessories, pouch, etc. made shin try and looked out for clothes for him to buy at taiwan..(BLUE SHIRT!) and made him do a memory picture on accessories I wanted him to get for me (heehee), we finally went into bugis junction to settle for some AIRCON and icecream!   shared 3 scoop icecream with shin (owe me 3bucks!) the photo on the right has a story behind it. see the plastic bag there? I asked shin to get me a nice carrier so that I can fit all my items into a nice carrier to hold.... and he came back with that. HOW PRACTICAL. full of nonGsense really -.- Me: "why you keep koping my cookies and cream! eat your coffee ah, I thought you like thats why you purposely buy.." Shin: " ya I know. I purposely eat the ones you like so later I know you won't touch the coffee one so I can slowly enjoy what. hehehehehehe." Me: "WAHLAU _I_" seriously, why do I have such friends, really. so after icecream-ing, while we were heading towards the mrt, I saw a familiar backview and WTH, my HOT sec2 camp instructor! he was walking quite fast and he was quite a distance away from us. when I told shin I wanted to say hi (but he was walking away damn fast already).. Shin grabbed me and ran towards him and we ended up 1 step behind him at the escalator. breathe breathe.. catch your breath. Me: *pokes shoulder* Aundrey: *turns back and give the o.o you-look-familiar face* Me: Hi! Jolene Sng, errr Swiss Cottage? heh eh? he stoned a bit then "OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I REMEMBER YOU! I REALLY DO! HEY! but I don't remember you... *points at shin*" HAHAHAHA.  and we ended up standing in front of the toilet (what a place, I know -.-) talking about he's chef job and etc. SHIN WAS A BIG ASSHOLE. Aundrey: "oh, I'm dealing with seafood.." Me: "oh.. wah cool!" Shin: "eh Jolene like seafood." _I_ basket. when will you ever stop?!?! bloody embarrassing. almost died inside on the spot with that doofus passing a lot of twerpy comment that made him deserve to be shot a thousand times.. basket. after that when we walked off and went separate ways..... I gave ng shin hell and kept whacking him (as per normal- as in, who wouldn't with a face that he has that shouts "SLAP ME! again, again!") long mrt ride back. overall a pleasant day and it beats rotting at home with tv and facebook and watching movies (AMERICAN PIE 3!) on mp4. mmmmm WOOHOO! and the rest of the days till date, I've got my babes to accompany me in the absence of my lesbohobohosin (HAHA!) be it sitting talking eating using the computer seeing CHLOE THE AUDITION FREAK play her game and do her thing. quite scarey.. but impressive.   went to buy paperpanty today with liam aka gangsta face aka mdm tan. and it was funny. had a nice time talking to yuhan today (HOPE YOU ARE FEELING BETTER ALREADY! <3 shall not elaborate) and so sorry ben! tmr tmr :D praying and hoping that tmr would be a good day! :* |

BODY WORLD  mr seow's reccomendation- went to science centre for half a day (thought that the exhibition was massive for a day but naw, only occupied us for a few hours) then slacked our way at macdonalds, redeeming all the monopoly freebie coupons.  the exhibit was pretty awesome I must say, but then all excitement soon wore off. worthy to make a trip down, but I thought that it was a little pricey. PLEASE BUY PACKAGE TO UTILISE THE AMOUNT YOU ARE PAYING. got cheated again, cos' of a dollar. (ah, forget it.)   cute kids for the day, heehee.   because we couldn't resist full length mirrors! anyway nice talking to my bi again! :) and she's flying off this afternoon, so bon voyage! we'll meet in dec. plus I'm looking forward to the yog function we'd be helping out together! (L) what the blood?! met gerald in the early afternoon cos' he was nice enough to acc. me to check out my blood group so that I can fill in my dpa form. apparently I couldn't find it in my birth cert/passport/ic/health booklet, neither could my parents- sidetrack a bit: the nest day, my dad came to tell me that I was a B+ and that it was actually stated in my health booklet in some sneaky page that I spent countless time flippin' but didn't catch it. basket.  had to wait for an hour because it was lunch hour -.- so gerald was just talking and talking and I just laughed at his silly stories. HAHA, hate it when gerald tries to be serious, damn akward and quite stupid.. in short, very laughable. heh! sorrrrz!   he was good, then ok then got annoying :b so anyway thanks for waiting half an hour for me. :X was supposed to meet at 12.00, but I woke up at 11.40 only. SORRY! after waiting it was finally my turn. was quite nervous but the lady doctor was nice. heh! she said "I'm going to take a bit of blood only ok!" and I was like "errr heng ok.." I looked away cos' the needle was quite dua :x the next thing I knew, she drawed one whole test tube of blood. LITTLE = 1 TEASPOON, not ONE MOUTHFUL right?! okay, I was quite shocked thats all. but it didn't hurt THAT badly.  lost blood for nothing. gerald was a patient dog (HAHAHA) after that, walked back to westmall for makan. mr mumbai's treat! stop ebing so kiam siap already!  gerald and family. kept laughing like crazy when I took this photo and gerald looked so stupid. goodness, idk why I couldn't stop laughing but all the ah pu nehneh also kept laughing and smiling. quite embarrassing but sorrz, it was really funny. thankfully enough, they were friendly!  gerald thought that it was funny -.-    self shot.. one heck of a retard.  it felt funny for a few hours! so after makan, met 2 ninjas for shawn's pre-birthday mission! SHAWN'S 16th SurpriseParty;  the gang-1 that made it possible!      surprise worked, cos' he was surprised! HAHAHAHA.   because I'm so irresistably handsome, shawn can't stop looking!  wadchalookin' at   ng shin- spon me 50cents for blackjack.. wo men ming tian qu bugis!  I won the dou che!     happy reunion at least!  goodness, for 4 years and still going strong.   gerald ps-ed me and pissed me off, but we made up already. hiakhiak. okay, tiring day! went home all smelly cos' perspired hell lot ): SHEENA'S CHALET!  sheena's little brother very cute.  and I owned him in wii. very short night spent @ chalet.. but quite a lot of fun! phew, a week, condensed- once again! |

sheena +1 year old. shorty's birthday so olandesh oh and I called her out for makan at orchard, mr oh's working place. suki sushi buffet lunch.. what we ate was rather not worth it, but ohwell, one time. and it was that day that I realised how mr oh could be entertained so easily.. contrary to his dark all-black gothic outfit -.- goodness!  steamed egg, alfred hated it. I thought it was average :/    nom nom nom.. alfred insisted on stacking for fun.   funky foodies so then after that we walked around while the food was left digesting in our system as it travels through the stomach then duodedum ileum then jejunum. ( BIO FTW! ) anyway we walked hell lot in finding a nice place to sit and chillax.. I think 50% food gone already by that time. we walked massively lot and just talked a bit of cock here and there..   because everyone seemed very intrigued. so after walking aimlessly, we got desperate and settled @ wheelocks borders..   most horrid drink ever: lychee blended. I ordered that because it was "highly reccommended".. bunch of liars, it tasted so awful, and what pissed me off was that it was 6 wholesome bucks. goodness, felt like dying. never been so cheated.. so then the 2 douches played with powdered sugar and we watched a quarter of a really goofy movie- all to just kill time till gerald came over.   cos olandesh had puny eyes...   finally man in black arrived.      bicker bicker fight fight waste time sit talk slack rest our ass/legs.. then I bus-ed home. was pretty tired! |

 just a short update on my first time official workday (one and only, I reallly buay ta han!) and I cannot stand lying (white) to the people, feel so so so bad esp. to the nice ones.  pay for the day; 10-2= 8 hours $80: 30 for mum, 50 for economy.was to beg people to do some silly survey in which the main thing was to get hold of their contact for the company (insurance).. I know of such thingus going on cos' of parents so it was pretty much, to say it flatly, to scam people into giving contacts so that the company can pester them into buying insurance and whatever after that (not my job!). so some people were nice, some not so nice.. took a lot of guts and like the dude who briefed us, must have "no face".. it really worked after you just surpass your comfort zone, and pumping in some silly white lies like "I only get paid per survey, can you please just do me this favour?" and pathetic puppy eyes would probably be a plus.. and to approach white indians cos' they are so darn helpful and nice, filling surveys after surveys. young couples were more emphathetic too!
me: hi sir/mam can you please help me with this simple survey, it only takes 20secs! sir/mam: *raise hand waving* its ok, its ok, *trying to SIAM already* wth, WHAT DO YOU MEAN ITS OK?! NOT EVEN REPLYING MY QUESTION WTH SERIOUSLY. OK YOUR HEAD. jia lat. or they would fill up the redundant questions for survey then brush off when I need contact details.. which was the only vital thingus. got quite pissed.. and kinda lost it for a few, in which I tore the paper and dumped it within viewing distance of the people so that they could see how pissed I am.... childish and unprofessional wtv thingus you can pour out of your vocabualary but really.... BASKET siol! hehehehe it felt quite good.
one thing was that hosin's sister and friends were really taking very good care of us though the whole execution was on a serious note. but still fatigue was one of the key side effects and pathetic lunch of cup noodles due to the huge crowd SITEX drew.. had to sit below the escalator even to makan.. dig that :( ohyes and I saw a couple of familair faces, joan daniel wei hao. damn surprised but happy to see them cos' they're like all I-HARDLY-EVER-SEE-YOU friends. :) but still thansk hosin and sister for lobang plus lift back home.. and waffle. ate smthg, tv-ed then fell asleep on the couch w/o bathing. hiakhiakhiak.. dogtired please!  |
